Initial Training Information


Pre-registration is required for all participants.  Walk-ins at in-person sessions are not permitted under any circumstance.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early as late arrivals may not be permitted to enter the training.

An email confirmation will be sent once the registration is complete.   If you did not receive the registration email in your inbox or “junk”/“spam” folder, contact the Office of Safe Environment for assistance at 315.470.1421.

Registration for in-person training sessions will close one (1) business day before the training session so please plan accordingly.  If you must cancel your registration and/or need to reschedule for another date and time, please contact the Office of Safe Environment.

In-person Safe Environment training is suspended through February 15, 2022, due to the NYS Mask Mandate.


Participants must have a computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and microphone to participate in online training sessions.  

Cell phones may not be used to participate in the training session.

Participants must have the Zoom application downloaded to their computer or tablet to participate in online training. 

Admittance into the training session will close at the start time of the training. Late arrivals will not be permitted. It is highly recommended that participants log on at least 10 minutes before the start time to avoid being locked out of the training session.

Registration for the initial training sessions will close five (5) business days before the training session to allow time to mail training packets to participants’ homes before the training session.  

Participants will be granted one (1) opportunity to register for online Safe Environment training.  If there are extenuating circumstances in which participants are unable to attend, they must contact the Office of Safe Environment at 315.470.1421 as soon as possible.
