The Bishops of New York State will meet with Gov. Andrew Cuomo tomorrow, Tuesday, March 19, at 2:30 p.m. Immediately following the meeting, the Bishops will be available to the media briefly outside the LCA Press Room on the third floor of the Capitol, at approximately 3:30 p.m. From there, they will hold separate meetings with Senator Dean Skelos, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and Senator Jeff Klein.

The next day, March 20, is the annual Catholics at the Capitol advocacy day. About 1,000 Catholics from across the state will join the bishops for a day of education and advocacy on the same issues. It will conclude with Mass at 1:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany.

Cardinal Dolan is in Rome for the formal installation of Pope Francis and will not be present either day.
