Help Those Affected by Hurrican Sandy

With the recent devastation that has taken place in the New York, Long Island, New Jersey areas, and knowing of our diocesan commitment to helping our brothers and sisters who have been affected by natural disasters, we have established a special Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund. The Fund will provide assistance to those in the Archdiocese of New York, Brooklyn, Queens, Rockville Center and New Jersey. We are inviting all parishes to take up a second collection at the next weekend Mass of your choice during the month of November to assist in this effort.

Rest assured all money collected will be sent to the affected dioceses for their relief efforts. Please make your checks payable to "Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund" c/o Catholic Charities, 240 East Onondaga Street, Syracuse New York 13202. The people of the Diocese of Syracuse have a rich history of generosity towards those in need. We know this will be no exception.
