Bishop Douglas J. Lucia of the Diocese of Syracuse stands with Catholic Bishops across the country in condemning all acts of violence, including political violence, following the events that occurred in Butler, PA, on Saturday, July 13th.
A post from the New York State Catholic Conference on Sunday, July 14th, reads, "The Bishops of NYS join all people of goodwill in praying for former President Trump and anyone else injured in today’s incident in Butler, Pa. We unequivocally condemn violence of all kinds, including political violence."
