The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse supports the educational, spiritual, and physical needs of those with in our seven county diocese through increased philanthropy and program-designated grants.

Catholic Schools 

Together with families and parishes our Catholic schools are faith-centered communities focused on promoting academic excellence while developing a strong moral conscience.  Our schools embrace Catholic principles, enabling students to meet lifelong challenges and demands in our rapidly changing world.

Light A Child's Future Endowment  provides ongoing scholarship support to children in 20 Catholic Schools throughout our diocese.

Parishes

Through increased philanthropy, the Foundation is able to support the services, sacraments, and worship provided by 116 parishes throughout the diocese. Establishing a fund in the Foundation for your parishes, not only support the ministry of your church, but also the diocese as a whole. You can donate to your parish now through our online link. You can also establish an endowment fund for your parish to provide support in perpetuity. 

Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities advances the social mission in our seven-county diocese by offering a variety of services.  Your support through the Foundations provides resources to these critical programs.
 

St. Thomas Aquinas Fund

Our priests and deacons provide us with pastoral support to grow in our personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We are called to do the same. Together, we can provide the opportunities for every man who is called to the priesthood or diaconate to receive the education and develop the pastoral skills he needs to serve our Church. Every year, the St. Thomas Aquinas Fund supports seminary formation, deacon formation, continuing formation, and vocation promotion. To learn more, download a copy of our brochure here.
 

Good Samaritan Fund

Your generous contribution continues to provide the Bishop the ability to fund priorities and initiatives throughout the entire Diocese. Cathedral Restoration Fund

The purpose of this restoration is to maintain the operational integrity of this magnificent house of worship.
