The position involves the ministry of planning and coordinating all communication from within the parish to parishioners and the local community through the parish website, social media, email blasts, the Welcome Center, and the bulletin. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be: a Catholic who is living according to the teachings, mission, and values of the Church; able to obtain, organize, and prioritize information; timely; willing to work with the pastor, staff, and volunteers; and able to communicate effectively (i.e., write clearly and design attractive graphics) using media print, technology, and social media.
