Catholic Campaign for Human Development

CCHD is a department of the USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops). It is the Church’s domestic response to address the root causes of poverty in the USA. CCHD of the Diocese of Syracuse is funded by a portion of the CCHD second collection in November.

Using a national grant process, low income groups can apply for economic development or organizing grants to respond to the root causes of poverty in their communities.
