TWELTH ANNUAL IGNITE CATHOLIC MEN’S CONFERENCE
Day-long event to inspire men through the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit
Wanted: Catholic men, ages 16 and up, seeking to fire up their faith! The Syracuse Roman Catholic Diocese will host IGNITE 2020 Catholic Men’s Conference, on Saturday, March 28, 2020, 8 a.m. to 5p.m., at the SRC Arena and Event Center, Syracuse. This day-long event will feature lunch, free parking, Mass, three nationally known speakers.

Steve Ray
• Steve Ray is a convert to the Catholic Church and the author of three best-selling Ignatius Press books (Crossing the Tiber, Upon this Rock, and St. John’s Gospel). He speaks at conferences around the world. He is a regular guest on The Journey Home and has appeared on many other radio and TV programs, including Fox News. He is writer, producer and host of the 10-part video/DVD series The Footprints of God: The Story of Salvation from Abraham to Augustine filmed entirely on location in the Holy Land and surrounding countries. Steve and his wife Janet and are certified guides to the Holy Land and lead pilgrimages throughout the Middle East and Rome. He and Janet live in Michigan. They have four children and ten grandchildren.
Chris Greisen
• Former NFL quarterback. He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the seventh round of the 1999 draft. He played college football at Northwest Missouri State. Chris earned a degree in physical education with a minor in mathematics from Northwest Missouri State. He teaches at Notre Dame Academy (Green Bay, WI). He also runs the Chris Greisen Quarterback Academy during the season at Texas Stadium and through the offseason in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Chris is a convert to the Catholic Church from Lutheranism. Chris and his wife, Shannon, have four children.
Fr. Thomas Petri, O.P.
• Vice President and Academic Dean Assistant Professor, Moral Theology and Pastoral Studies, Dominican House of Studies. Entering the Order of Preachers (O.P.) in 2004, Fr. Petri was ordained a priest in 2009. He has a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception and a Doctorate in Sacred Theology (S.T.D.) from The Catholic University of America. Pope Francis commissioned him a Papal Missionary of Mercy for the duration of the Jubilee Year of Mercy. He is currently a co-host of The Church Alive on EWTN Radio. He resides in the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC.
