Call to Oppose Legislation on Assisted Suicide

The NYS Assembly has passed a measure that would legalize assisted suicide in NYS. There is still a way to oppose this legislation. Call or email your NYS senator as soon as possible and let them know that every life is worthy and deserving of love and care and to please oppose this misguided bill. We spend millions of dollars every year in NYS on suicide prevention. What does this say to those who are disabled, ill, or at the end of their lives? Resources should be put toward improving hospice and palliative care, not in encouraging people to end their lives.
