New Principal at Trinity Catholic
07/19/2012 - Syracuse
Most Rev. Robert J. Cunningham and Christopher Mominey, Superintendent of Schools, are pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Barbara Sugar as the new principal of Trinity Catholic School, pre-K-6 located on 115 East Fifth Street, Oswego, NY. Mrs. Sugar’s appointment was effective July 6, 2012. Mrs. Sugar is succeeding Mr. Joe Lazarski who has served as principal since 2012.
“Mrs. Sugar is a familiar face to the Oswego community and, more importantly, to the students of Trinity Catholic’, states Mr. Mominey. ‘Having been an admired teacher and mentor for hundreds of students over the years, Barb has made Trinity part of her life and dedicated countless hours to its success. In addition, as a member of the School Board, the Annual Fund Committee, and the Scholarship Committee, she has seen firsthand the inner workings of a Catholic school. And as an active parishioner at St. Paul’s Church, our partnering parish, she has a reputation for building positive relationships with the Catholic community at large.”
